Short-term treatment of erosive esophagitis associated with GERD, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome

Dosage & Administration Guidelines
40 mg once daily
20 mg (>=15 to =40 kg) daily for >=5 yrs
Same as adult
240 mg/day (Zollinger-Ellison)

C. difficile-associated diarrhea, hypomagnesemia, bone fractures, acute interstitial nephritis
Hypersensitivity to PPIs, use with rilpivirine
Long-term use may cause vitamin B12 deficiency and hypomagnesemia

Methotrexate, clopidogrel (less interaction than omeprazole), atazanavir
